CASHOUTKENZO: Brooklyn’s Melodic Maestro Building 2308&Co from the Ground Up

CASHOUTKENZO Melodic Maestro Roots in Brooklyn

Raised on a steady diet of choir harmonies and DJ-spun classics, CASHOUTKENZO melodic maestro grew up in Brooklyn immersed in rhythm and emotion. His mother’s singing nurtured an early love of melody, while crates of vinyl from his uncle and grandfather taught him the power of flow. Absorbing—but never imitating—icons like Michael Jackson, Speaker Knockerz, Kid Cudi, and Kanye West, he distilled those influences into a sound he describes as “emotion in motion.” Listeners can hear that signature blend on recent releases such as “OTW!,” “I Told You,” and “Blurr,” each available on Spotify with visuals on YouTube that mirror his otherworldly vibe.

Building 2308&Co: Independence with Intention

Rather than wait for a major-label call, CASHOUTKENZO co-founded the independent imprint 2308&Co with producer and brother Kvrmv (pronounced Karma). Serving as COO, the artist has poured the same precision he applies to his harmonies into label operations—handling production, rollout, and branding entirely in-house. “Full creative control lets every track breathe,” he says, crediting a tight inner circle that includes Forbes Tha Vybe God, Tymizz, and the Skywell collective for pushing his vision forward. The result is a catalog that shifts between alter egos—melodic highs, gravel-voiced lows—without ever losing authenticity. That fearless approach helped him clinch second place with former group ULUE at AfroPunk’s Battle of the Bands, a milestone that cemented his belief in music’s power to move people.

Alter Egos, Collaborations, and the Road Ahead

For CASHOUTKENZO, each new project is another chapter in a larger narrative. The CASHOUTKENZO melodic maestro ethos is evident whether he’s delivering raw confessions on “I Told You” or riding a breezy bounce on “Blurr.” Collaboration remains intimate: studio sessions with Kvrmv unfold like conversations, while LaSala Studios engineer Chris Moronta captures the nuances of every punch-in. Off-mic, the artist channels that same energy into fans, offering a refuge for “the misunderstood, the silent fighters.” Long-term plans include taking the 2308&Co brand global and nurturing a roster of likeminded creators. Until then, he invites listeners to join the journey—follow him on Instagram for daily insights into the evolving world of this CASHOUTKENZO, where emotion, harmony, and intent always lead the way.
